Abstract
The effect of drought on the germination of rice seeds was studied under the drought stress simulated with polyethylene glycol(PEG-6000).The results indicated that the germination rate of rice seeds was reduced significantly. The content of soluble sugar,α-amylase activity, root activity and root length were increased at lower PEG level but reduced at higher PEG level. The content of soluble protein was reduced and the content of free amino acids increased under different PEG levels.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
