Study on Fabrication and Properties of Al Foams/PC Resin/Al Alloy Laminated Composites

Abstract

The Al foams/resin/Al alloy laminated composites were fabricated with aluminum foams as damping phase because of its excellent shock weakening capability. It was experimentally showed that the combination of interfaces of the laminated composites is strong with the way of heat-squeeze solidifying technique. The bending strength of Al foams/resin/Al alloy laminated composites is 300MPa. Its impact and damping property is excellent.
