Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the change of drug resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa(PAE) so as to provide evidence for the clinical application of antibiotics and the control of nosocomial infection.METHODS A total of 1966 stains of P.aeruginosa isolated from 2006 to 2010 were collected.Drug resistance to 13 antibiotics including imipenem was detected by disk diffusion method.RESULTS Of the 1966 strains of PAE gathered, the resistance rates to amikacin,ceftazidime,cefoperazone/sulbactam were less than 40.0%,which were 30.2%,30.4%,and 35.9%,respectively;those to levofloxacin and imipenem were higher than 60.0%,which were 61.9% and 63.1%,respectively.Pan-drug resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates have been increasing year by year.CONCLUSION The drug resistance rate of clinical isolates of P.aeruginosa is high.In order to prevent the outbreak and prevalence of the resistant strains, antibiotics should be chosen according to drug susceptibility test results in the clinical practice.
