FDI and Spatial Agglomeration: Based on the Analysis on the Difference of Economic Freedom

This paper connects FDI with the spatial agglomeration of urban population and puts the effect of FDI on the agglomeration of urban population in the research on conduction mechanism.It focuses on the promoting role played by FDI in the agglomeration of urban population and urban scale and the relationship between the conduction mechanism and the economic freedom of different countries.We use the data of 139 countries from 1980 to 2011 to conduct positive test and find that the role of the conduction mechanism is significant and the significance is enslaved to the economic freedom of each country.It is of great significance for further optimizing urban development structure,improving urban development environment,raising urban development potential and making the relevant governmental policies.
