Preliminary Study on The Ecological Safety and Protection of Xinjiang Oases

There is an important oasis agricultural zone of China in Xinjiang ,which is an important region with rich energy resources . With economic development , its ecological environment problem is becoming increasingly acute . The accurately recognization of the present ecological environment of Xinjiang oasis and taking suitable countermeasures will play an important role for economic and social sustainable development in Xinjiang . In this paper , ecological environment features of this region were described , and the threaten to ecological safety were analyzed . Meanwhile, the way and the feasible countermeasures of sustainable development of the region were discussed.
