Abstract
XML document data storage is the focus of the XML related research.Based on the model mapping,this paper presents a method which can map XML document to relational database and vice versa.The mapping algorithm is presented and experiments result show that the tables generated by this mapping method have simple structures and is able to retain the structure information of XML documents,thus to realize the mutual conversion between the XML documents and the relational database.
