Abstract
This paper summarizes the efficiency of weed control of “Yubao”, a new type of herbicide, when the maize grew the third leaf in the North of China. The appropriate dose to apply is 900~1 100 g ai/hm 2. According to this dose, the chenopodiaceae, the amaranthaceae and the cruciferae are killed completely. The rate of weed control is 90% and the digitaria sanguinalis(L.) Scop and cephalanoplos segetum(Bge) Kite is over 70%. The total rate of weed control to all kind of weed can achieve 90%.
