Abstract
Ruan Yuan was one of the most important leaders among all the poet groups during the period of time between Qianlong and Jiaqing era. His triune identity of a scholar, official, and literator made his poetry a very unique feature. He created the culture pomp of the Gujingjingshe (a place where wise and learned scholars explained Confucian scriptures), feeding a new lease of life to the poetical and cultural field. He was the last influencial leader and had an important place in the poetical history of the Qing Dynasty.
