Study on extraction of volatile oil in Jiuxiening Granules

Abstract

Objective: To optimine the extraction process of volative oil in Jiuxiening Granules. Methods: Soaking time,extraction time and the amount of water added were studied by the orthogonal test with the volatile oil's volume. Results: The more effectie way to extract volatile oil was effluent extraction with five times amount of water under reflux for seven hours.
