Abstract

This paper put forth a definition for synchronizer capacity,and considers it as a key factor to measure the performance of the synchronizer.It analyses the factors that effect the synchronizer capacity,and what will happen to MT,AMT and DCT when the synchronizer capacity is too low for the transmission.And it also suggests four methods to increase the synchronizer capacity.At last it takes AMT as an example to explain how to use the concept to solve problems.
