Abstract

The progresses of urbanization and industrialization are accompanied.Coming to the conclusions through quantitative analysis on the developing relationship of urbanization and industrialization since China's reform and openingup: China's urbanization lags industrialization overall,and the phenomena has tended to narrow after the reform and opening-up.It was the most coordinating in 2003,but after that,the trend that urbanization lags industrialization has turned to increase gradually.Every region shows different situation because the development of urbanization is influenced by nature and policy factors.The eastern and central regions' urbanization lags industrialization,and the north-eastern region's urbanization advances industrialization.Though the western region' urbanization rate is not high,its urbanization is the most coordinating with industrialization.The inter-regional differences require different policies in different region in order to achieving coordinating development of urbanization and industrialization.
