Abstract
A new technology to machine the integral impeller with twisted blades is introduced, that is NC-ECCEM(Numerically Controlled Electrochemical Contour Evolution Machining). The machine tool and multi-axis linkage moveme nt means are introduced. The ways are given for data processing and programming. Based on the machining processing analyses, the proper suppositions are advance d. The shaping law of Numerically Controlled Electrochemical Contour Evolution M achining integral impeller is studied. The expressions of the theoretical error in the processing are deduced. The solution to eliminate part of the error is a lso discussed and verified in experiments. Using the machining way, the integral impeller up to standard was produced and used in aircraft jet.
