Abstract
This paper gives an outline of the development history and significanse of concept of the uncertainty,the basic terms of the uncertainty,the error and the uncertainty,the origin of the uncertainty for chemical analysis,the evaluation of the uncertainty,the uncertainty for standard substances,and the example for evaluation of the uncertainty and so on.The elementary knowledge and practical application of the uncertainty are introduced.
