Abstract
Confucianism,Taoism and Buddhism are the 3 main systems in chinese traditional culture,lots of quintessence in them has become the most important theories for Chinese painting which yields great influence to the artistic creation,aesthetic principles and ar tistic styles.It has been the foundation of Chinese painting.Therefore,the exposition of art of painting in Ch inese traditional culture must give priority to the understanding of Confucianism,Taoism and Buddhi sm.
