Study on Current Development of Tennis and Countermeasure of Colleges and Universities in China

Abstract

Based on the interview of tennis teachers and questionnaire of players of attending the Chinese Colleges and Universities Tennis Championships,the author investigated and analyzed all the factors of affecting the development of tennis in colleges and universities.It indicated that inadequate tennis court,lack of tennis teaching staff,incomplete competition system were the disadvantages for the development of tennis.Aiming at those problems,this paper offered some suggestions and countermeasures to promote tennis in a continuous,healthy and orderly way in colleges and in universities.
