Abstract
The algorithm of texture mapping is dassified into two main categories,2D and 3D texture mappings.To start with,2D texture mapping consists of two sections including the method of obtaining texture and mapping.In this part,texture mapping algorithm of parameter surface,non-parameter surface and mapping skill based on small texture distortion are concerned.Furthermore,the technology based on 3D texture function including the definition of 3D texture and the research on texture mapping method are discussed.Because of the requirement in virtual world construction,the subject of texture extraction and mapping method of anomalistic object faces used in computer reconstruction of real object faces are also discussed.texture classification;texture mapping;2D texture;3D texture;reconstruction
