Status of Low-Carbon Economy and the Construction of A Modern Low-Carbon Industrial System in Jiangsu Province

The development of low-carbon economy has become the consensus of international community in respect of future economic development model.The development of low-carbon economy provides a good opportunity for the industrial structure adjustment and economic transformation and upgrading.Based on the development status of low-carbon economy and modern industrial system of Jiangsu,this paper analyzed the changes in industrial structure and carbon emissions of Jiangsu Province and made the suggestion that a modern low-carbon industrial system should be built from the perspective of industry,government and enterprises: promote the rapid development of emerging industries and transform traditional industries;the government must implement institutional innovation,provide policy guidance and integrate the production factors;enterprises must attach importance to technological innovation,implement energy-saving plans and promote co-cluster development.In a word,we must give full play to government functions and the subject function of enterprises.
