Abstract

In this paper,the correlations research between vocabulary test scores and listening test scores of English majors is conducted.A sample of 57 sophomore students,randomly chosen in a certain foreign language university,is analyzed.The analysis shows that vocabulary test scores and listening test scores are closely correlated.This result affirms the teaching and learning quality of a specialized English language university rather than that of a non-specialized one.
