Abstract

Objective:To investigate the expressions of MMP-2,MMP-3,MMP-9 and CD147 in human ovarian cancer and their clinicopathological significance. Methods:Immunohisto chemical S-P method was performed to detect the expressions of MMP-2,MMP-3,MMP-9,CD147 in 40 malignant and 9 benign ovarian tumors.Result:The expression rates of MMP-2,MMP-3,MMP-9 and CD147 in ovarian cancer were 92.5%,100%,100% and 95%,respectively.The expressions of MMP-2,MMP-3,MMP-9 and CD147 in ovarian cancer were related with clinical stage and pathological garade(P0.05)but not with the histological type and clinical prognosis(P0.05).There were positive correlations between the expressions of CD147 and MMP-2,MMP-3,MMP-9(r=0.802,0.786,0.914)in ovarian cancer. Conclusion:Expressions of CD147,MMP-2,MMP-3 and MMP-9 have relevance to clinical stages and pathological grades in ovarian cancer, and overexpression of CD147 may induce the secretion of MMP-2,MMP-3,MMP-9.
