A Comparative Analysis of the Horizontal Velocity Changes in the Course of Approach and Take-off for Chinese and Foreign Elite Female Triple Jumpers

Abstract

The author has compared the horizontal velocity changes in the course of approach and take-off between Chinese and foreign elite female triple jumpers.It is concluded that Chinese female triple jumpers have showed obvious disparity in approach velocity,especially the accelerating ability at the eventual stage and the maintenance ability in horizontal velocity at the 3 jumping stages.It is also indicated that Chinese female triple jumpers have obvious weaknesses in approach,take-off and other significant technical areas.
