There are two kinds of different standards in the loan words research.The first is to take the words of literal meaning as the standard and the second takes the words of universal use as the standard.The standards are closely related with purpose of the loan words research.The literal standard aims at studying the form-meaning relation while the universal standard aims at exegesis of characters and words.The idea of literal standard is a progress in that it breaks the boundary of traditional exegesis and establishes its worthwhile place in the research of loan words.
