Abstract

Psychological factors have been associated with the pathogenesis and progression of coronary heart disease(CHD).This article reviewed three kinds of psychological factors including Type A behavior pattern,hostility,and depression,which were said to have strong relationship with coronary heart disease.And we focused on introducing the researches on Type D personality as a risk factor in patients with CHD,which was derived from existing personality theory and empirical evidences.
