Abstract
the capital of Song Dynasty--Bianjing, wealthy and prosperous, produced many kinds of magnificent folk festivals which stimulated the creation of Song Ci . Song Ci greatly enriched the metropolis folk culture from which social sources of Ci can be known.This essay tries to analyze the mutual effects of folk festivals and Song Ci.
