Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effects and safety of bedside temporary cardiac pacing in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) complicated with bradycardia arrhythmia. Methods Forty-five patients with AMI were received the insertion of the temporary cardiac pacing on bedside without the guidance of X ray. Results Forty-five cases with AMI received procedure of the bedside temporary cardiac pacing successfully without severe complication. Time for successful pacing was (3.5±1.2)min. The catheter was kept in the right ventricular for(3.8±1.3)days. During the pacing, electrode dislocation occurred in 4 cases. Conclusion The successful rate of inserting temporary pacing electrode on bedside without the guidance of X ray is high, which may be safety and more benefit for AMI patients with bradycardia arrhythmia.
