Abstract
The phenomenon of self-excited vibration in medium plate mill is researched in this paper.Two separate mathematic models are presented through the research on the roller and the main transmission which can cause self-excited vibration in 4200 rolling mill.Through comparing the results got by analyzing and solving the two different models,then how to reduce the rollers' vibration and improve the stability of the medium plate mill can be put forward.
