Abstract

Objective To observe the efficacy of mCIMT and traditional exercise therapy for motor function recovery of lower-extremity of stroke patients. Methods 64 patients with stroke were divided by COINS method into two groups: thirty four in control group and thirty in treatment group. The treatment group was treated with mCIMT;the control group adopted routine treatment with traditional exercise therapy as Bobath technique. The two groups were treated for eight weeks. The two groups were separately evaluated with Fugl-Meyerl scale,Berg balance scale before treatment, four weeks and eight weeks after treatment. Results Before treatment, there were no difference between the two groups in Fugl-Meyerl scale,Berg balance scale. After treatment, the compare of Fugl-Meyerl scale and Berg balance scale on the control group were P0.05,on the treatment group were P0.01,on the control group and the treatment group were P0.01.Conclusion mCIMT can be greater than traditional exercise therapy to improve motor function of lower-extremity and balance function of stroke patients.
