On the characteristic, function and objective of the globalization

Globalization is an inevitable historic trend. The principal features of globalization are globalization of production, globalization of trade, globalization of finance, globalization of competition and education. Science and technology is the first propelling power. In the other hand, globalization of economy motivates the transmission of information in the world, and it promotes the development of production, trade and investment in the world, making the scarce social resources effcient allocated in different countries, regions and sections. China, which will enter WTO, should prepare to complete the economy mechanism joining the trend of globalization.
