Abstract
In this paper,the characteristic needs of VPN technology are analyzed. The principles of two main VPN technology including IPSec VPN and MPLS VPN are summarized,then the advantages and disadvantages of each performance are analyzed. The VPN Network which based on the integration of IPSec and MPLS is designed. The OPNET network simulation software is used for simulation experiments. The simulation results show that the merged VPN network possess the advantages of both VPN, and fulfill the characteristic needs of VPN network requirements.
