Abstract
The study analyses the relationship between maize planting density, maize yield and yield constitutes factor. The results are: Planting density has greatest influence on the height of plant and the length of bare ear, then the weight of per 1000 grains, grains, grain number of per row. Planting density makes no notable impact on the ear length. Planting density is the key factor influencing yield; the best maize planting density in Pan xi district and other similar area is 87608 plants/hm 2.
