Abstract
Owing to the process control system’s time delay characteristics,the conventional PID controller has significant overshoot and a larger adjustment time.By introducing Smith predictor,the closed-loop system step response curve of the unit becomes quickly and without overshoot,and also solves the lag element affecting the stability of closed-loop system problems.
