Abstract
The main bridge of Zhongzhai Bay Bridge in Xiamen is a 3-span half-through steel box basket handle arch bridge of flying wing type with span arrangement 58 m+208 m+58 m.The pile caps of the main bridge foundations of the Bridge are constructed with steel sheet pile cofferdams.In this paper,the construction method for the pile caps with the cofferdams is described.
