Abstract
Objective To observe protective effects of adenosine on myocardial reperfusion injury after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI).Methods Forty AMI patients received PCI were randomly divided into adenosine group(injected adenosine) and saline group(injected saline) to detect serum peak values of malondialdehyde(MDA),superoxide dismutase(SOD) and creatine kinase-MB.Results MDA levels were lower,SOD levels were higher, and CK-MB peak values were significantly lower in adenosine group than those in saline group(5.01±0.80 vs 6.97±0.86,80.70±3.23 vs 61.63±3.49,123.6±84.3 vs 186.1±92.2,respectively,all P0.05).Conclusions Adenosine should be used in emergent PCI in coronal artery of patients with AMI to reduce myocardial reperfusion injury.
