Differences in Ethic Structures between Harmonious Society by Confucianism and Modern One

Harmony is the key to the traditional Chinese Culture,and the Confucians considered the construction of a harmonious society as their target.Today while the Communist Party of China has accepted the key element HARMONY from the traditional culture,the General Secretary of the Party HU Jin-tao has elaborated for the first time the connotation of a harmonious society.There exist similarities in connotations,foundations and realization ways between the traditional harmonious society put forward by Confucianism and the modern harmonious society to be constructed by the Party.However,their differences are obvious,i.e.the ethic spirit within,the ethic structure supporting the society and the realization routes in the traditional harmonious society by Confucianism were different from the modern harmonious society by the Party today.
