Abstract

The scorpion venom is a biotoxin, of which the toxicity was only less than snake venom, and it has complex physiological activity and pharmacological activity. The hemolysis of scorpion venom to mammal and the influences of physical and chemical factors on hemolysis effect had been studied by conventional in vitro tube method and spectrophotometry method. The results showed that the hemolysis activity of scorpion venom increased with increasing concentration and decreased with increasing pH value, moreover, it was sensitive to the light.
