New Points of View on the Employment of Repetition in the Book of Songs

Abstract

Repetition as a rhetorical device is one of the important ways to express emotion in the Book of Songs.Basic reasons for this feature are the civilian aspect,performance orientation and background restraint of the Book of Songs and not only caused the widespread use of repetition,but also determined the abundance of Feng and XiaoYa in the book but repetition was used once in a blue moon in Song and Da Ya.
