Abstract
From the perspective of different aesthetics of different time, the social functions of tragedy, the historical development ideas of tragedy topics, tragedy characters and etc, this paper discusses Corneille's tragedy aesthetics thought and points out Corneille's contraversary attitude to the submiting and surpassing of the dramatic unities of action, time, and place.
