Abstract

The three extracellular ligninolytic peroxidases from phanerochaete chrysosporium are lignin peroxidases, Mn-dependent peroxi-dases and gloxyal peroxidase. Phanerochaete chrysosporium's ability to degrade dye vvastewater has incomparable advantages over the customary methods. This paper offers a brief summary of the degradation mechanism of Phanerochaete chrysosporium and its industrial application.
