Abstract

Objective To investigate the characteritics of keratoconus under corneal topography, especially the early Keratoconus. Methods 19cases of Keratoconus were examined by corneal topography,in which 5 cases were in subclinical stage 14 cases(20 eyes)progressive. The topography morphology, central corneal refractive, power, keralometry, corneal astigmatism, the surface regularity index(SRI).Results The corneal topography of subclinical keratoconus showed bow-tie pattern, and most of them is asymmetric pattern. In progressive keratoconus, central area form a cone, the shape was round, oval and papilla-like central corneal refractive power, the I-S value were different. Conclusion Corneal topography may be a useful method to early diagnosis of keratoconus.
