Abstract
Rapid development of computer science has brought great changes to product development strategy.Product design has transformed into a development activity based on concurrent and collaborative environment. In order to manage product design process effectively, the product information is first decomposed and the information model supporting concurrent design is established. Then the three management modules of the system are constituted which are product data management module, product activity management module and product development process management module. Finally the framework of the system is given.
