Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of the Lingguizhugan Decoction on acute myocardial ischemia, hemodynamics and myocardial oxygen consumption in dogs. Methods AMI model in which the anterior coronary artery was ligated in anesthetized dogs was built, the myocardial infarction area dyed by NBT was measured, the coronary arterial blood flow (CAF), cardiac output (CO), left ventricular pressure (LVP), the maximal left ventricular pressure rate change (dp/dtmax), blood pressure (BP), heart rate (HR), LVEDP and myocardial oxygen consumption were recorded by the polygraph system before and after intraduodenal administration of LGZGD. Results the Lingguizhugan Decoction 8 g/kg could obviously increase the coronary arterial blood flow (CAF), decrease CVR, LVP, LVEDP, HR, BSP, dp/dtmax, myocardial oxygen consumption, the differences were significant ( P 0.05-0.001) as compared with the control group and the level before administering LGZGD. The myocardial infarction area was reduced in 8 g/kg LGZGD as compared with the control group ( P 0 05).There is not remarkable effect on CPK,LDH,GST. Conclusions LGZGD could evidently increase the myocardial blood supply and oxygen supply, thus result in the improvement of myocardial ischemia.
