Abstract
Model slicing is the major source of profile processing information.Several model slicing methods are discussed in the paper, such as STL slicing, tolerate-errors slicing, direct slicing, direct and adaptive slicing, and so on. The authors' research work of direct slicing and its applications in Wuhan Binghu Mechanical Electrical Corporation is introduced. What's more, the primary reason of precision improvement is analyzed.
