Statistics and Analysis of the Influence Factor of the University Journals in Zhejiang Province from 2003 to 2006

The influence factor is the most important in the metrological indexes for evaluating the academic quality of journals.Based on statistics and analysis of the influence factor of the university journals in Zhejiang from 2003 to 2006,the paper points out that the influence factor of university journals in Zhejiang has obvious total growth,but the individual development level varies.Key journals differ greatly from ordinary ones in the influence factor,but the growth margin of the latter surpasses that of the former.Compared with the similar journals throughout the country,the influence factor of the university journals in Zhejiang does not show decided superiority on the whole,but the key journals and part of ordinary ones are above the national general level.Specific measures and suggestions are presented to increase the overall competitiveness of university journals in Zhejiang.
