Abstract

Objective To explore the applied value of 16-MSCTA in herosclerotic sclerosis lesion of internal carotid artery. Methods The clinical data of 23 cases of patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease were retrospectively studied. All the 23 cases of patients were checked by 16-MSCTA and DSA in a week and 16-MSCTA diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of extra-cranial internal carotid artery stenosis were assessed. Results After being checked by 16-MSCTA and DSA,46 branches of carotid artery images were formed.Of all the images checked by 16-MSCTA,normal ones account for 18,stenosis 28,with moderate and severe stenosis 20(43.48%).Of all the images checked by DSA,normal ones account for 19,stenosis 27,with moderate and severe stenosis 18(39.13%).The findings showed that 16-MSCTA diagnostic accuracy was 94.7%,sensitivity 90.0% and specificity 100.0%.Conclusion Assessment of different levels of herosclerotic sclerosis lesion of internal carotid artery by 16-MSCTA was consistent with that by DSA.16-MSCTA can be used as one of the methods to diagnose the atherosclerotic sclerosis lesion of internal carotid artery.
