Abstract

Objective To discuss the therapeutic effect of Atropine in the treatment of organophos poisoning by different preparation methods. Methods Forty cases of patients with acute organophosphate poisoning were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group, each of group had 20 cases.Control group were treated with Atropine by traditional drug deliever of intermittent intravenous injection;observation group were treated with Atropine consistently by micropump. The dosage of Atropine,Atropinization time, cholinesterase activity recovery time, length of hospital stay, bounce phenomena, poisoning phenomena and mortality of patients in two groups were counted and compared. Results The dosage of Atropine in observation group was less than that of control group;the Atropinization time, cholinesterase activity recovery time, length of hospital stay in observation group were significantly shorter than that of control group;the bounce phenomena, poisoning incidence and mortality rate in observation group were significantly less than that of control group.Compared between the two groups, the differences were all statistically significant (P 0.05).Conclusion The therapy of continued to pump Atropine into patient with organophos poisoning by micropump is a safe and effective preparation method.
