Abstract
A New Account of Tales of the World is the model of the novels that documented and described the characters.Since A New Account of Tales of the World had been created,the novel has been loved by the literati and a series of Shishuo novels had been created also,which were called anecdote - style novels.Those novels have their common characteristics.Generally,the anecdote - style novels are shorter than the other novels,and have the similar structure,that is to classify the article.The characters in those novels are almost truly peoples in the history,and the contents of those novels are basically the anecdotes and wonderful words.The language of these novels seems simple,but there is deep meaning in those novels.
