Abstract

Because of the tremendous impact of the pedestrian,roundabouts often become urban traffic bottlenecks.Taking reducing the impact of pedestrian on the roundabout as a target,and taking Huoshenmiao roundabout in Chengde City as an example,two rehabilitation programs are designed to increase intersection′s traffic capacity.The two programs are compared in order to determine the best reconstruction program.The practice can be consulted by similar reconstruction engineering.
