Abstract
Genetic structure of eleven populations of Eucalyptus grandis introduced in Zixing city Hunan province were studied with the method of rapd. 149 repeatable loci were detected and 89 lici were polymorphic by using 20 10-mer random primers. Percentage of polymorphic loci was 59.73%. According to the measurement of percentage of polymorphic loci(P), Shannon index, and diversity coefficient(DC), the genetic variation was relativele high level within Eucalyptus grandis populations. The value of pdc which estimating the relationship between populations showed that the genetic deversity between populations was lower with the value ranged from 1.52% to 10.42%. This was to say, a large genetic variation exited within population. In the studied populations of eucalyptus grandis, the level of genetic deversity of 8 and 10 populations were higher, and that of 3 and 6 population were lower. Above all contribute to the selection of population in Eucalyptus grandis.
