The Collection,Preservation and Utilization of Cashew Germplasms Resources in China

In this paper,the collection,preservation and utilization of cashew(Anacardium occidentale) germplasms resources in China were summarized,and the research work on cool resistance,pest resistance,cross breeding,molecular biology,etc.were introduced.We also discussed the problems we met in the cashew germplasms resources research,put forward core germplasm bank which was used to establish the cashew germplasms resources,and we also analyzed the genetic stability of the major biological characters with modern biology techniques to improve the variety classification and resources evaluation system of cashew germplasm resources.
