Abstract

Commercial application of GOR-II olefin-reducing catalyst, developed by Sinopec Research Institute of Petroleum Processing (RIPP) in a 1.0 Mt·a~(-1) FCCU of Sinopec Qingdao Petrochemical Plant was described. The application results showed that GOR-II catalyst reduced olefin content by 15% to 20% at adding fraction of 9% to 30%, with RON loss of only 0.3 to 1.5.
