Evaluation on Curative Effect of Interventional Therapy for 115 Cases with Malignant Obstructive Jaundice

Abstract

Objective: To explore the value of percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage(PTBD) in the treatment of the malignant obstructive jaundice.Methods:115 cases of the malignant obstructive jaundice with CT and biochemical examination were enrolled in this study to be treated with external or internal drainage(83 cases) and external drainage(27 cases) according to different situations.Results: For 115 cases,the general conditions of the patients were obviously improved and serum total bilirubin level and enzyme were obviously descended after drainage was performed.There were statistically differences between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion: Based on the observation of the effect of PTBD for the cases of the malignant obstructive jaundice,PTBD is a reliable and effective method for the treatment.
